This July, the Creative Music Guild’s AMBIV, AD, and Outset series are making the move from Swan Dive to Dream House Dream House for a month of adventurous music and deep listening.
The month begins with AMBIV, Noah Simpson’s new series exploring the intersection of ambient music and jazz, centering atmosphere, texture, improvisation, and sonic depth.
Next, the AD Series brings together Mike Gamble, Chris Benson, and Daniel Rossi for an evening that bridges experimental guitar music, solo drums with electronics, improvisation, and richly textured sound.
The month concludes with the Outset Series featuring bassist, composer, and educator Eden Holland and his group, whose work carries jazz tradition into new harmonic, rhythmic, and improvisational territory.
We’re excited to bring these three series into the intimate listening environment of Dream House this month and continue highlighting the incredible artists shaping Portland’s creative music community.
