Kids N Tennis Our outreach targets children who are minority, at-risk and/or from lower income households.

We've created a culturally diverse program and free summer camp with outreach to kids historically underrepresented in the sport of tennis...essentially creating a junior program 7-18 that helps kids learn how to play tennis regardless of the social, financial situations. Kids N’ Tennis’ objective is to use tennis as a vehicle to teach and reinforce educational, social, and life skills through a sport that offers boys and girls similar opportunities for success. Kids N’Tennis, works in partnership with communities and national organizations including the Untied States Tennis Association, local schools, businesses and other agencies to promote the sport of tennis.

At just 16 years old, Thea Frodin took the court yesterday against World No. 2 Elena Rybakina—another incredible experience in a young career already full of promise.

Behind the scenes and alongside her on the journey is PTR member and coach Dan Slapnik Trost. 👏

Next up, Thea turns her attention to the 2026 US Open Junior Championships, beginning September 6.

We’re proud to see PTR coaches supporting the next generation. We’ll be following along and cheering on Thea and her team!
