Tomorrow is the first day back to school for our 1st-5th graders! Doors open at 7:50 am. This year our 3rd-5th graders will have the chance to compete in the Oregon Battle of the Books. We need your help to get enough books for our students. Shaver is participating in the Oregon Battle of the Books for our second year! Our 3rd-5th graders will have the opportunity to read these books and compete. Getting books into the hands of students is so incredible. If you would like to donate books to our Shaver Tigers, we would be so incredibly grateful. We made it! Let’s celebrate the end of the school year at LEVEL tonight 6/12 4-7 pm! It is a great opportunity to chat, exchange contact info, and set up some summer play dates.

It is a family friendly spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, delicious food carts, great spaces for the kids to play, pinball machines, lawn games, & a fenced in little dog park. Address is 5211 NE 148th Ave Portland, OR 97230.

Volunteers needed! Field day is next week Thurs 6/11 & we need your help managing the games. Sign up for an AM or PM volunteer shift or stay for both to help with tug of war, obstacle courses, relay races, water balloons, & more.

🎪 Join us for food, fun, & prizes at the Carnival tomorrow Friday 5/29 from 5:30-7:30 pm! Tickets are .50 each and we will be selling them at the music showcase performances tomorrow (9:15 am & 1 pm) and later at the Carnival entrance.

Games, dunk tank, bounce house, & raffle tickets all cost 1 carnival ticket each. Cupcake walk, face painting, and color hair spray are also 1 carnival ticket each. Food ranges from 2 to 4 carnival tickets per item. We will have chicken, pork, and vegan hot dog options.

Kona Ice will be on site selling shave ice & accept cash or card.

Yearbook presale & SECO Shaver shirts and hoodies will also be available via donation at the music showcase along with carnival tickets.
