Volunteers needed! Field day is next week Thurs 6/11 & we need your help managing the games. Sign up for an AM or PM volunteer shift or stay for both to help with tug of war, obstacle courses, relay races, water balloons, & more.

🎪 Join us for food, fun, & prizes at the Carnival tomorrow Friday 5/29 from 5:30-7:30 pm! Tickets are .50 each and we will be selling them at the music showcase performances tomorrow (9:15 am & 1 pm) and later at the Carnival entrance.

Games, dunk tank, bounce house, & raffle tickets all cost 1 carnival ticket each. Cupcake walk, face painting, and color hair spray are also 1 carnival ticket each. Food ranges from 2 to 4 carnival tickets per item. We will have chicken, pork, and vegan hot dog options.

Kona Ice will be on site selling shave ice & accept cash or card.

Shaver Elementary Community Organization (SECO) meeting is tonight at 6:00 pm in the Shaver library. Childcare and pizza dinner is provided. This is a place where parents, community members, teachers, and school staff come together to talk about current happenings at the school, ask questions, or help develop ways to benefit the school and our kids. We will be joined by Superintendent Michael Lopes-Serrao to talk about the Parkrose School District budget and the impacts on the Shaver community.

Today kicks off appreciation week for our school! We collaborated with the school district to provide delicious parkrosecoffee beverages and pastries for staff. There was also homemade granola, fresh fruit, and yogurt courtesy of our principal!

And as a special bonus, we got to hand out free copies of The Week Junior magazines to the 4/5 classes! Thanks to PTO Today & The Week Junior!
