We have taken notice that more than a couple of trees have had nice size broken limbs on them. We believe someone is intentionally breaking these limbs. Brookline Together sends out a big heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make yesterday's Brookline Breezefest a success. We could not have done it without our sponsors Pittsburgh Regional Transit, Marikate Reese at Edgar Snyder & Associates, Fox's Brookline, Berkshire Berkshire Heating & Cooling A-Boss Opticians, Elizabeth Seton Center, Nordic Handyman, Hue and Cline Photography, and Lindsay Brown at State Farm.

We'd also like to thank Tina Betters at Antonio’s Pizzeria for the fabulous live music she organized, Lance Rhoades at Tree of Life Open Bible Church for organizing the free activities at the Kids' Zone, and Vince Rump for organizing the car cruise.

Hey Brookline!
We are starting something new that one of the adoptees suggested and I loved the idea. We want to introduce you to individuals that live in your community who take time out of their schedules to help make your community a little more beautiful. Every week or so I will introduce you to some one new. Feel free to comment positivity to these individuals for not just talking about something, but doing something. 💙💛💚

HEYYYYYY BROOKLINE!!! If you don't know me, well you really need to get out more...LOL I am the beautification chair of Brookline Together, I have stomped up and down this Blvd for 13-15 yrs of being involved with Brookline Together in one way or another. One of the many things I started was the flower bed adoptees. We have about 20 adoptees of flower beds along the blvd. Of course we are always seeking more volunteers. Hint Hint. My husband and I have lived here for 20 years, were transplants from WV and Erie. We couldn't have picked a better spot for raising our 4 children whom many probably know, Jurnee, Damon, Jaylesa and Shyla. We are also the proud fur parents of our kitties, Rogue and Gambit, and the 4 legged Ar****le Drax the destroyer. Love the convenience and versatility of Brookline so much that no matter how much my husband has wanted to move, I have stated it will only be into an old folks home...So Brookline for now your stuck with us and the continuation of hoping to watch these beds bloom into way more.💛💚💙

With the Brookline Breeze 5k race, followed by Brookline Breezefest this Saturday, the Blvd will be closed between Pioneer and Glenarm from 8am to 6pm. All cars must be moved by 7:00am or they will be towed at owner's expense. Please share this widely, especially with people who live or work on the Blvd.
