NAVY DAY | OCTOBER 27 🇺🇸⚓

Today, Blue Star Mothers of America recognizes Navy Day, a historic observance honoring the proud service, traditions, and legacy of the United States Navy.

While the Navy celebrates its official birthday on October 13, Navy Day on October 27 holds its own place in history and gives us another opportunity to recognize the Sailors who have answered our nation’s call to serve. ⚓

From generations past to those serving around the world today, we honor their courage, commitment, and sacrifice. We also recognize the Navy families who stand beside them through deployments, long separations, missed milestones, and joyful homecomings. 💙

To our Sailors, Navy veterans, and the families who love them, thank you for your service and sacrifice.

NATIONAL DAY OF THE DEPLOYED 💙🇺🇸

Today, on National Day of the Deployed, Blue Star Mothers of America honors the brave men and women serving far from home and the families who carry their absence in their hearts every single day.

Deployment is measured in more than miles. It is missed birthdays, holidays celebrated apart, empty chairs at the dinner table, late night phone calls, countdowns, care packages, and the hope of a safe return home.

To our deployed service members, we see your sacrifice, we honor your service, and we are grateful for you. 🇺🇸

To the mothers, fathers, spouses, children, siblings, grandparents, and loved ones waiting at home, we recognize your strength and sacrifice, too. ❤️

Today and every day, may we continue to Remember Everyone Deployed until they all come home.
