VOLUNTEERED: Packed items for pre-deployment. Behind every box are volunteers who gave their time, donors who provided supplies, families who shared addresses, and communities that came together with one purpose: to remind our service members that they are remembered. THANK YOU for your service! 🇺🇸

📦💙 Behind Every Care Package 🇺🇸

A care package may look like a box filled with snacks, toiletries, cards, and a few comforts from home. But when it reaches a service member far away, it becomes so much more.

Behind every box are volunteers who gave their time, donors who provided supplies, families who shared addresses, and communities that came together with one purpose: to remind our service members that they are remembered.

And inside every box is something you can't put a price on.

❤️ A reminder of home
💙 A message of encouragement
🇺🇸 A community saying, “We haven't forgotten you.”

For a deployed service member, even the smallest item can bring comfort, lift spirits, or provide something to share with those serving alongside them.

Blue Star Mothers of America chapters across the country proudly continue this tradition of sending a little piece of home to those serving far from theirs.

To everyone who donates, packs, writes a card, shares a name, or helps get a box on its way, thank you. You are part of every care package, too. 💙

❤️🇺🇸 IT’S R.E.D. FRIDAY. NEVER FORGET. 🇺🇸❤️

In the middle of preparing for our Candlelight Vigil, I’m pausing for one very important reminder:

Don’t forget to wear RED today.

Friday has always been my favorite day of the week. ❤️ Not because it’s the end of the workweek, but because every Friday I get to wear RED and remember those who are deployed—and the families carrying on at home while they are away.

There is a service member somewhere in the world who may be wondering if anyone is thinking about them.

Let them know we are.

There is a spouse, child, parent, or loved one at home counting the days until their service member comes home.

Let them know they are not forgotten either.

So wherever you are today, wear your RED proudly.

Take a picture. Share it. Tag a friend. Start a conversation.

Because this simple act carries a powerful message:

We Remember Everyone Deployed.
We remember their sacrifice.
We remember their families.
And we will keep remembering them every Friday until they come home. 🇺🇸❤️

❤️ WEAR RED. REMEMBER. NEVER FORGET. ❤️

Service Looks Different for Everyone 🇺🇸💙

There is no single way to serve.

Some serve our nation in uniform. Some pack care packages for those far from home. Some visit veterans, place wreaths, organize events, volunteer in their communities, or simply offer encouragement to a military family who needs it.

Others serve quietly behind the scenes, giving their time and talents wherever they are needed.

Every role matters. Every act of service has purpose. 💙

At Blue Star Mothers of America, we see every day how different people and different talents can come together for one shared mission: supporting our service members, veterans, Gold Star families, military families, and one another.

You don't have to serve in the same way as someone else to make a difference. Find where your heart, talents, and abilities can help, and start there. 🇺🇸

Service may look different for each of us, but together, it makes an impact.
