We are so excited to announce our second Black Teaching Artists-In-Residence Anita Levels and Dr. Zuly Inirio!

*Anita Levels is a self-taught vocal artist, songwriter, and producer who began singing at the age of 3 years old in Frankfurt, West Germany.
*Dr. Zuly Inirio is a Dominican-American soprano who has appeared as a soloist throughout the United States and Europe.

This pilot program includes a $1,000 monthly stipend for the selected artist and the opportunity for that artist to make an impact for the future of teaching arts in a diverse landscape in the Pittsburgh area. We are excited to announce the launch of a new program designed especially for Black music teaching artists in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

BLACK TEACHING ARTIST IN RESIDENCE (BTAR) is a new program birthed from a collaborative partnership between ACT3 Consulting Partners, LLC & UniSound. BTAR is a program that supports the music practice and professional development of Black teaching artists in the Greater Pittsburgh area in a manner aligned with the goals and mission of UniSound.
