Meet Mac!

Mac is a little bit shy, and tends to get overshadowed by the more outgoing cats. However, when he gets your undivided attention, he becomes a big softie. Once he realizes he has your full, calm attention, he wants all of the pets, and sometimes even a belly rub!

Mac would do best with a quiet, calm, home. He gets along with the more reserved cats, but sometimes gets picked on by the cats with bigger personalities. He would probably do best as an only cat, or with a cat willing to share the attention from the humans.

Attention all Animal Advocates followers! A huge shout out to the students, teachers, staff, administrators and PTO at Whittier Elementary in Pittsburgh Public Schools. Meet sweet Ceasar. This gorgeous kitty is estimated to be abt a year and a half old. He's super friendly and like most cats, loves pets, cuddles and treats. He seems to get along with the other cats at shelter. Could his new home be with you? Pippa is a tiny goofy girl with lots of love to give!

When we say Pippa is tiny, we mean it—this little lady is a whopping 6lbs! Don't let her diminutive size full you--there's at least 20lbs of personality packed in there!

She can be shy initially, but it’s easy to win her over with just a few minutes of quality time and some gentle encouragement. Once she comes around it’s nonstop head butts, purrs, and lots of meowing!

Pippa has an extremely cute habit of burrowing into spaces to get as cozy as possible. Blankets, covered beds/cat houses, you name it—she loves feeling safe and cozy.

Pippa is approximately a year old. She is indifferent to shy around other cats. She would probably do fine either as an only cat, or with careful introductions to friendly/calm cat companions. Since she can be a little bit skittish, she would probably be happiest in a home without very young children or dogs.

What’s your favorite Girl Scout cookie? Meet OUR favorites: Do-si-do, Tagalong, and mama Thin Mint! Can they hang out with you for a little bit? We are seeking a temporary foster placement for the two kittens and their mama. All are up to date on age/weight appropriate vetting, tested negative for FIV/Felv, and are soon to be posted for adoption! Their current foster is headed on vacation and the family needs a temporary foster from approximately May 22-24.
