Last weekend we celebrated Gabriel Schoone's ordination to the Transitional Diaconate. You are invited to join us for Deacon Gabriel's first preaching Mass at Saint Jude Parish this Sunday, June 7, at the 9am Mass at Sacred Heart Church. A light reception will follow in the auditorium.

Please continue to pray for Deacon Gabriel as he begins his ministry as deacon and prepares for his priestly ordination next June.

Men's Group meets this Thursday, June 4. If you'd like, join us in the Chapel for Evening Prayer at 6:45pm before heading down to the Bishop Winter Conference Room.

If you heard Fr. Brendan's homily last weekend, he spoke about the icon of the Holy Trinity by Russian monk Andrei Rublev (1408-1425).

In 1551, the Church recognized this icon as the standard for depicting the Trinity. In it, Rublev made visible what we confess about the Trinity: three persons, one God, none greater or lesser than the others. Their positioning around the table leaves an opening for us - we are invited in to the life of the Trinity, the communion of love that is the heart of everything.
