Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Strong Awards. Together, we raised $171,000 to support Girls Inc. of Greater Pittsburgh to continue expanding our programs into three more middle schools!

The 2026 Strong Awards was a celebration of the incredible women and girls who inspire us, the community that stands behind them, and the impact we can make together.

We are still thinking about the 2026 Strong Awards!

What a night celebrating the women and girls who make our community stronger, and the people who continue to show up for them. Together through sponsorships, day-of donations, ticket sales, and our raffle we raised: $171,000 to continue expanding programs into three more middle schools!

We also had the opportunity to celebrate the incredible award honorees Sharise Nance, LCSW, CCTP, Divya Tase, Savannah Coleman, and Pennsylvania Women Work. We also celebrated the Emerging Leader honoree, Alpha Delta Lambda Omega Graduate Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

The room was full of energy from start to finish, with our full Board of Directors, Emeritus Board, staff, community partners, university leaders, and supporters all coming together for one memorable evening.

We’re also very grateful to County Executive Sara Innamorato for joining us, to everyone who helped make the evening possible, and to Shayla Hawkins for her incredible design and support.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who continues to invest in Girls Inc. and the girls we serve. We’re proud of what we’ve built in the last 18 months, and excited for what’s ahead.

Tonight's the night! We are so excited to celebrate the 2026 Strong Awards.

We'll be gathering tonight to celebrate the remarkable individuals and organizations creating change in our community while investing in the next generation of strong, smart, and bold girls.

Doors open at 5:00 PM at PPG Wintergarden. The presentation will beginning at 6:00 PM. We can't wait to celebrate with you. See you tonight!

Thank you to Turner Construction Company for joining us at Summer Camp and introducing our girls to the exciting world of construction. Hearing from women in the industry gave our campers the chance to explore new career paths, ask questions, and see firsthand that there are no limits to what they can achieve.
