David is a banking executive, civic leader, and community builder with more than 20 years of experience in commercial banking. As Arizona Market President for First Western Bank & Trust, he leads strategic direction, business development, and community partnerships, bringing a leadership approach grounded in strategy, trust, and meaningful relationships.

Beyond his professional leadership, David is deeply committed to strengthening the communities he serves. His extensive civic involvement spans education, housing, early literacy, nonprofit and business collaboration, and community development. Through his service across numerous boards and community initiatives, he has worked to build stronger connections between local institutions and the people they serve.

As Chair of the Million Dollar Teacher Project Governing Board, David brings extensive executive leadership experience, a systems-focused perspective, and a commitment to building partnerships that create lasting community impact. His passion for service and collaborative leadership will help guide MDTP as we continue advancing solutions that elevate the teaching profession and strengthen the communities educators serve.

The Driven for Teachers Car Giveaway is about more h to an handing over a set of keys. It’s about giving an Arizona educator reliable transportation and one less barrier between them and the hard work they do every day.

Teachers spend so much of themselves showing up for our students and our communities. This time the community gets to show up for them.

The Drive Forward Summit and Driven for Teachers Car Giveaway were made possible through the collaboration of Million Dollar Teacher Project and Purpose Driven Automotive, we two organizations committed to creating opportunity and removing barriers in our community.

From championing Arizona educators to making reliable transportation more accessible, this partnership brought people, resources, and purpose together for one incredible day.
