Throughout her career, she has worked alongside students, educators, and underserved communities to design inclusive, evidence-based initiatives that strengthen educational opportunities and student success.

Our children spend so much of their time learning, growing, and discovering who they are alongside teachers. Educators do far more than deliver lessons and they help shape confidence, possibility, and the future of our communities.

If we trust teachers with so much of our children’s development, caring for them cannot be optional. Taking care of teachers is one of the most meaningful ways a community can take care of its children.

Sometimes the hardest seasons create room for the work we are meant to do.

Losing his job during one of the toughest times in his life could have ended the story. Instead, it gave Lloyd Hopkins the space to build Million Dollar Teacher Project, an organization rooted in purpose, possibility, and supporting educators.

His journey reminds us that a setback can become the beginning of something that changes more than one life. It can strengthen an entire community.

Laura is the Founder and Strategic HR Advisor of Centered People Solutions, where she partners with organizations to strengthen leadership, improve workplace culture, and develop effective workforce strategies. With extensive experience in human resources and executive leadership, she is passionate about helping organizations and people reach their full potential.

In addition to her professional leadership, Laura serves as Director of Workforce Readiness for the Arizona SHRM State Council, helping strengthen connections between education, employers, and the future workforce through meaningful collaboration.

As a member of the Million Dollar Teacher Project Governing Board, Laura brings valuable expertise in organizational leadership, workforce development, and strategic planning to advance our mission of supporting educators.
