I always appreciate hearing back from those we support...we don't do it for recognition or accolades, we do it to make a positive impact on some of the most vulnerable individuals in the community. This past Christmas, we were presented with a unique challenge when we found out about kids who had been forgotten during the holiday for several years, but with the support of our amazing donors and some problem solving, we were able to do what we do best and take care of these kids. I'm attaching a communication from the facility managers as well as some photos (yes, actual photos of kids receiving gifts!) which is very exciting to be able to do!

Possibly the best part of the Christmas season for us is hearing back from the kids that they liked their gifts. It's such a rewarding experience to allow these kids a sense of normalcy during the holidays.

I hope everyone had a safe and healthy night ringing in the New Year!

I also wanted to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to everyone for your support this past year. We were challenged in many ways, bit worh your support we were able to overcome all the obstacles and help even more kids this year than ever before.

None of what we do is possible without your help and I cannot thank you enough for all that you do to show these kiddos that you care.

I received a thank you card from Greenway house yesterday and wanted to share with you all as well. I will post additional cards as they come in.

Sharing! North 17 is an organization we support. These are typically single parent households, and in many cases situations where grandparents have custody of their grandchildren. They work to help set these kids up for success.

Love House Kids Program Christmas 2025 is a WRAP! We just finished our last delivery!

This year, with the continued support of our amazing community of friends, we were able to support 269 kids!!! That is nearly 100 more than we have in prior years.

The support you all provide is invaluable and I hope everyone realizes that and takes a moment to appreciate the effort you all put in to help us positively impact these kids.

The house manager in Texas that we assisted this year told us that the kids there would have been happy just to get a handshake or pat on the back for Christmas...something to show them they mattered and weren't forgotten. That hits really hard...it's easy to take for granted having basic necessities, but for these kiddos, a bag of chips or a blanket of their own...or even a new pack of socks or underwear is life changing.

So from the Love House to all of you, THANK YOU for caring about these kids and THANK YOU for making the time and effort to show them you care.

We'll be posting thank you messages (and we might get lucky with some photos this year) as soon as they come in.

I wanted to take a moment to give a huge shout out to some friends that came out yesterday to help us wrap gifts. The team at Assurant showed up in force and helped us wrap hundreds of items that would have taken us a lot longer to do. We appreciate Molly Parker Miller for coordinating the event and all of the fine folks over at Assurant who made this event so successful!!!

A few weeks ago, I was made aware of a number of group homes in TX that had not received Christmas gifts in at least 3 years . . . Those of you who know the Love House know that we couldn't accept that. Without hesitation, and without having all the logistics in place, we committed to providing Christmas gifts to these forgotten kiddos. We researched local organizations that we could have partnered with to support these groups, but nobody that we could find in the area had the time or resources to assist.

So on Friday morning (yesterday), we dispatched a minivan packed with holiday cheer to these homes. I'm happy to announce that as of about 1/2 hour ago, the delivery was completed and these kids will not be forgotten this year!

The house manager told our volunteers that these kids are beyond excited that someone thought about them this year and most would have been happy with a pat on the back. I can't express to you how humbled we are that the support we receive throughout the year allows us to make a positive impact on the oft-forgotten youth that is in these situations through no fault of their own. No kid deserves to be forgotten, especially at Christmas.

The Love House Team appreciates everything our supporters do and everything they provide to help us make a difference with these children.

We'll be having additional updates in the coming days regarding the local deliveries as well. Please know that you all are directly involved in improving the lives of these kiddos and we appreciate all of your support!!!

(Did I forget to mention, this trip supported 146 kids in addition to the local kids in AZ that we take care of . . . )

A huge THANK YOU to Drawn To Comics ! These folks are AMAZING! Not only are they hosting a gift drive for our group home and shelter kids again this year, they donated gifts from their inventory to help support a very large ask that came in recently. I'm humbled by their generosity and honored to call them friends! If you need any gifts for that special someone who likes comics, action figures, or games, this is the place to go! (Great deals leading up to Christmas too!)
