Please join us for a special evening honoring the life, legacy, and lasting impact of Linda Searfoss. With Linda’s passing in May, our community lost a beloved leader and longtime CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona. Linda was the agency’s first full-time employee and the first CEO of Valley Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Throughout her remarkable 30+ year tenure, she helped guide the organization to new heights, leaving a lasting legacy of leadership, dedication, and impact on the lives of countless youth, families, and volunteers. We invite all who knew and loved Linda and all who were touched by her work to come together to share memories, stories, laughter, and gratitude for a remarkable woman, the many lives she touched and the lasting legacy she leaves behind.

At BBBS, we believe in the power of showing up for one another. This , we celebrate the rich cultures, voices, and traditions that help shape the lives of the youth and families we serve. When we embrace who we are, we create a world where every child can thrive.

Meet Lucy! Lucy is 13 artistic, loves to laugh, and enjoys connecting with others. She is especially proud of her grades this year and hopes to work in law enforcement someday. A lifelong Arizona resident, Lucy has visited Hawaii and dreams of traveling to Germany in the future. She has even taught herself some German and a few Italian words! Lucy is also interested in learning how to play the bass guitar. She would love a Big Sister who can encourage her interests, explore new activities with her, and share plenty of fun and laughter along the way. Could you be Lucy’s Big Sister? 💚 Learn more at bbbsaz.org/volunteer.
