10 DU athletes competed

16 events

4 All-Americans (Ashlyn, Korbin, Dylan, and Zahra)

9 PRs (Saywer, Evan, Dylan, Korbin, Drew (3 times), Ashlyn, and Mayzell)

Lots of rain, humidity, and fun.

Congratulations to DU’s first National qualifiers, as Ashlyn and Korbin are the 3000 meter race walk Regional champions and Dylan PR’ed in the 1500 meter race walk and came in second.

Congratulations to DU’s first ever multi-event State Champion, Mayzell, who won the 11-12 girls competition today. She set or tied her PR in 4 of the 5 events and became DU’s first Regional qualifier for 2024.

Way to go Mayzell!!

The DU kids had a fantastic Phoenix Invitational meet this weekend. Lots of PR’s, medals, and great experiences.
