Double the Bermudez, double the trouble at Camp Half-Blood!

Meet Beni and Nora Bermudez, a brother-and-sister duo from Gilbert who both attend Mesquite High School. Together, they're taking on some of the more colorful characters in VYT's “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical”!

Beni, 15, plays Mr. D (Dionysus), 🍇the Greek god of w**e and director of Camp Half-Blood. Sarcastic, perpetually annoyed and more interested in his next Diet Coke than Percy's problems, Mr. D brings plenty of attitude and humor to the stage! VYT audiences may recognize Beni from “Little Shop of Horrors” and as Joshie in 🎤 “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”.

Nora, 16, takes on the roles of Mrs. Dodds and The Oracle. One minute she's Percy's terrifying math teacher, who isn't quite what she seems, and 🔮 the next she's delivering the mysterious prophecy that sends Percy on his quest! Recently seen as Susan Heffley in “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” and in “Shrek the Musical”.

From an irritated Greek god to a supernatural surprise and a mysterious Oracle, these two are ready to bring a little mythology and mayhem to the VYT stage!

See Beni, Nora and the rest of the cast in “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical”, opening next Friday, October 9!
