Downtown Phoenix Ambassadors

Back-to-school season has a way of bringing us back to beginnings.

Meet Tarver — a graduate of Phoenix Union High School District's Upward and Onward program, now in his sixth year as a DTPHX Ambassador. Here, he's holding a photo from his very first day on the job, a reminder of how far he has come in his journey.

Upward and Onward equips graduating PUHSD seniors with disabilities with hands-on workplace-readiness training, and Downtown Phoenix Inc. is honored to help extend that path forward through real internship opportunities within our DTPHX Ambassador program.

As students head back into the classroom this season, stories like Tarver's are a reminder of what's possible when a community keeps showing up for its students, long after graduation.

That's a wrap on Vol. I of DTPHX Day! 🏙️🎧

Today, Downtown Phoenix came together in the CityScape East lobby to build something simple but special: a collaborative playlist of songs that remind us of this city. Equal parts music, community, and good vibes.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with DPI staff and DTPHX Ambassadors and contribute to the Mixtape.

This is only the beginning of a new monthly tradition celebrating everyone who engages Downtown — here's to many more volumes ahead.

🎵 Add your song to the playlist anytime: dtphx.org/dtphx-day
