Grandma Maggie Murphy, Navajo Nation, has been standing up for our voting rights for decades. And she’s not stopping. She continues to encourage young people to register to vote and to fight for it. She’s been a volunteer for many years with the Navajo Voters Coalition and is currently helping them plan the 2026 Navajo Voters Coalition Conference on Thursday, June 18 at Twin Arrows.

Let’s make sure Grandma Murphy’s work, cultural, and organizing knowledge is carried on! Join us!

What can we do for ourselves? That’s the basic idea behind Native Nonprofit Day. What if we had the resources to do everything we want? We could empower more voters, change public policy, and educate people about their ability to shape an agenda for the future.

This is a critical time. We are hearing from our neighbors who have lost access to food benefits because the Trump administration is cracking down on SNAP eligibility rules. States are taking that demand and adding it to their framework, stripping benefits — make that: taking away food — for tiny violations of complicated rules.

We can do better. Arizona Native Vote tells that story. And we help voters understand how to push back against a tide of indifference.

Help us get that message out. Take a moment and donate what you can today. ➡️ arizonanativevote.org/donate
