Blue Knights Arizona VI Arizona Chapter VI resides in the greater Phoenix Valley (Maricopa County), formed in 1981 All makes and models of motorcycles are welcome.

Currently, we have active and retired law enforcement officers from Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Washington, Wisconsin, US Army, and US Airforce. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Blue Knights Arizona Chapter VI, or have questions, You may message the chapter for additional information. Arizona Chapter VI's general membership meeting is the third Saturday of each month.

The Blue Knights® International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, Inc. -
is a non profit organization of active and retired law enforcement officers from around the world who enjoy riding motorcycles. Currently, there are over 20,000 members, in 586 chapters, representing 28 countries. The founding fathers of the Blue Knights® are Joel Rudom, Bill Robinson, Doug Miner, Ed Gallant, Mike Hall, Chuck Gesner, Wayne Labree, and Chuck Shuman, who began the club in 1974 in Bangor, Maine. Membership is comprised of law enforcement officers from state, county, municipal, and federal law enforcement agencies (including US Military law enforcement). The Blue Knights® is a fraternity with spouses and children often accompanying members on chapter rides and functions. As a Regular member, you must be an active law enforcement officer (minimum of 32 hours per week) or retired state, county, municipal, or federal (including military) law enforcement officer, who have (for active officers) or had (for retired officers) powers of arrest and employed by a government law enforcement agency.

News from the International Convention:

▪︎ Dues Increase Ratified: The International portion of the member dues were increased $5, from $25 to $30, for 2027 and then will increase just 1 dollar a year for the following 5 years, to adjust for inflation.

▪︎ Constitution Amendment Ratified: Going forward, new regular and associate members must own a motorcycle when they join. The 6 month grace period for m/c ownership was removed from the club Constitution. Honorary and Special Honorary (Chaplains) are unchanged and they can still join without owning a motorcycle.

▪︎ BOG By-Law Change: The BOG Vice-Chair is now responsible for cultivating International Convention bids and assisting chapters with preparing their bids.

▪︎ Tom Luellen from Springfield, Missouri, the Midwest Regional Conference Chairman, will be the new BOG Chairman, after he is sworn in at the banquet in Calgary on Thursday night.

Today a few members of AZ VI joined me at the Camelot Therapeutic Ranch to present our Annual Donation

Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship is a non-profit organization located in Scottsdale, Arizona that improves the quality of life for children and adults with physical disabilities through adaptive horseback riding and outdoor education.

We then went out for lunch.
