We love seeing accessibility in action!

Great news for visitors with mobility challenges! All-terrain wheelchairs are now available to borrow at Arches Visitor Center to improve visitors' access to enjoy more of the park.

The all-terrain wheelchair is non-motorized and requires an assistant/operator to push the chair. They may be borrowed for single-day use at no charge. This program will cover eligibility for the Arizona Long-Term Care System (ALTCS), which covers long-term care services for individuals who are elderly or physically disabled (EPD) or have a developmental disability (DD) diagnosis, and who meet program eligibility requirements. This session will cover (1) eligibility requirements, (2) the pre-admission screening (PAS) process, and (3) how applicants can prepare for the process.
