When you ask 8-year-old Sydney and her best friend, 9-year-old Ella what is most important to them, they quickly respond, "We want to get safe water to kids because it make us really sad that a lot of children, even babies, are sick and dying because they don't have any!" And that is exactly what they are doing. For over 5 years, Sydney has been watching her grandmother raise thousands of dollar t

hrough a Water 4 Kids International charity event - Walk 4 Water - that raises funds for the drilling of deep-water wells throughout Uganda. And as Sydney has grown so has her awareness of the many children whose lives are at risk everyday because they have no access to safe water. At first, Sydney and her brother, Myles would donate their small allowance. But that wasn't enough for Sydney, she wanted to do more. So with the help of their parents, she and Ella put up their first lemonade stand. They call themselves the "Lemon Aiders" because "we're saving lives with lemons!"

Parents, your child can help "save lives with lemons" by becoming an official member of the Lemon Aiders. Every $25.00 membership includes one 2.5'x2' Lemon Aiders' Banner, Lemon Aiders' Tee Shirt, Lemon Aiders certificate, Water 4 Kids International and Lemon Aiders brochures telling exactly where donations will be spent.
