Big Mike update!
Big Mike, aka Miguel—a big love bug with a playful side! 🤎
We suspect this handsome boy understands Spanish, which earned him the nickname Miguel! Big Mike came to us as a stray, so his estimated age of 7 years is our best guess. He arrived in good overall condition, and his teeth are in good shape, too.
This boy likes to make his rounds before settling down. He’s a heavy breather at first while he’s busy exploring, but once he settles, he turns into an absolute LOVE BUG. His favorite accessory? The pet stairs to the couch—his ticket to a comfy spot beside you.
Big Mike enjoys chasing the younger pups and playing with toys. He’s good with kids and other dogs, and his chill but playful personality suggests he may do well with cats, although that hasn’t been confirmed.
He isn’t much of a foodie, but when he’s ready to eat, he heads to the feeding area to let you know. He’s potty trained, kennel trained, and knows the doggy door, though he may cry when first kenneled. He also has some marking tendencies we’re working on, so his adopter should be ready to continue that work with patience and consistency.
