A reminder that we’re taking a little break on Saturday, September 12 while Northfield celebrates the Defeat of Jesse James Days!

Riverwalk Market Fair will not be held on September 12, but there will still be all sorts of fantastic festivities to check out in town.

Be sure to make it to the market on Saturday, September 5 to stock up until we’re back on September 19.

Meet Alex, our #1 (tent ninja) volunteer! 👏

At Riverwalk, one of our goals is to create a vibrant community—and Alex is truly an important part of ours. Every Saturday, he helps us by bringing his warmth, kindness, and genuine connection to our early morning market setup. We’re so lucky he rolls out of bed early to help get the market ready (we don't call him the "tent ninja" for nothing!). 🎪

On Saturday, rain resulted in slower sales, but thanks to our Farm to Families program, our farmers' peak harvest season produce did not go to waste. We were able to step in and buy 2,500 lbs. of fresh produce directly from our local farmers at the end of the market—that's 900 lbs. more than last week!

🍅600 lbs. of tomatoes
🌽500 lbs of corn
🫛200 lbs of green beans.. and so much more was packed straight into the food shelf cooler!

The Farm to Families program ensures our farmers get paid for their hard work while local families get access to fresh produce. But we need your help to keep it running.
