We are excited to share that Chapel Brewing will be June's Fermentation Friend at Third Thursday! Chapel will have a great lineup of their beers available for sale as well as ciders and cocktails from Northfield's other Fermentation Friends! Soda and water will also be for sale at the Bridge Square Popcorn Wagon.

Join us on Thursday for live music and dancing, picnicking downtown, and fun! 5pm to 8pm at Bridge Square.

The Friends of Downtown are really fortunate to have some great supporters that make our programs possible. A special thank you to Age Friendly Northfield for their continued support of Third Thursday and this year sponsoring the musical acts for three months! Additionally thank you to City of Northfield, Minnesota, Minnesota Main Streets by Rethos: Places Reimagined, Kwik Trip, Flooring International and HomeTown Credit Union for your support!

We don't charge admission for Third Thursdays and rely on donations as an all-volunteer, working board. Every dollar you give goes directly into programming for Third Thursday, Merry Micro grants, and other programs that support our downtown! This afternoon volunteers with the Friends of Downtown Northfield were out weeding around Bridge Square and along Division Street. We filled 8 bags of materials to compost!
Also shout-out to the volunteers with the Rice County Master Gardens who helped!

Construction may be happening Downtown, but a new path should help make it easier to get around. The new path goes around the History Center's construction, is protected all the way, and has a ramp to get up the curb, helping you get to some of our great local businesses such as: Tin Tea, Farmstead Bike Shop, Bread People, Northfield Historical Society, Northfield Olive Oils and Vinegars, Indoor Fins, and Antiques of Northfield

This will be an annual tradition, and the current design is being sold for one year only, so grab yours before they're gone. Your purchased cup is fully approved for use at the Third Thursdays Fermentation Friends booth all summer! You can pre-order cups now to pick up at our Friends booth at Third Thursday. You can also purchase and pick up the cups from us on-site at Third Thursdays.
