On May 2, the VFW Post hosted an open house event to provide information on the benefits of membership in the VFW, both the Post, and the auxiliary, while also distributing flags to be attached to homes with the assistance of Boy Scouts and Post members who installed them at each location.

The VFW auxiliary organized a bingo night at Hastings VA Home, attracting a sizable audience. The event was filled with fun, made possible by the presence of many auxiliary members and our bingo caller Logan Wells.

My name is Mark, and I’m reaching out from the St. Francis Legacy Foundation here in Minnesota. We also operate Three Links in Northfield.

We support seniors and adults with disabilities across the state—including many veterans who have served our country and now rely on local care communities to live with dignity, connection, and purpose.

I’m reaching out with a simple ask.

We’re hosting a statewide fundraising auction (April 20–27) to help ensure veterans and other seniors can continue receiving care close to home—near their families, their communities, and the places they fought to protect.
