It is shaping up to be an incredible summer at Good Earth Village. The summer staff is in training. Synod and churchwide staff member, Rev. Emily Carson, joined them last week for an afternoon. First for a power and boundaries training and then for a Bible Study training using day 4 of the "Wear Love" curriculum that GEV is using this summer.

Nuer Community Lutheran Church is the newest worshipping community in the Southeastern MN Synod and began in the winter of 2025. Their pastor is Rev. Yang Tut. On Sunday, May 17, the council was installed during a joyous worship service followed by a meal. Synod staff members, Kathy Chatelaine and Rev. Emily Carson, participated in the day.
