Capital Prep Bronx Charter School student Destiny M. is cleaning up her neighborhood in Co-op City! For a school community service project, Destiny decided to host a community cleanup. With the help of her Sanitation Foundation mentor Johari, school administrators Principal Brooks, and teachers Ms. Ramirez and Ms. Feliciano, Destiny and her classmates collected over 30 pounds of trash. 💪🚮 What a feat — go Bears!

This week, we unveiled our five new with New York City Department of Sanitation! Swipe to learn more about the third installment of this project 💚🖼️

The community festival was truly a celebration: artists showed off their hard work and DSNY Commissioner Anderson gave an empowering speech about our collective responsibility to keep NYC clean. In that spirit, we finished off the day by hosting two community cleanups around Union Square! 💪🚮 Thank you to partners PaintCare & Mack Trucks for making it all possible. 🤝

Look out for these newly transformed collection trucks on their routes across all five boroughs🗽! If you spot one IRL, be sure to DM us a picture 📸

With New York City Department of Sanitation and partners PaintCare & Mack Trucks, artists will show off newly transformed collection trucks—now huge, moving public artworks that will continue to operate in all five boroughs. Starting at 9AM, join us for this free event, which includes:
-A first look at 5 newly designed collection trucks
-Meet the artists behind the work
