CHCF was proud to welcome Assembly Member Yudelka Tapia today and receive $200,000 in funding for our after-school programs.

During her visit, students showcased hands-on STEM projects, including a robotic car and a volcano experiment, highlighting the innovation and learning that takes place in our programs every day.
We are grateful for Assembly Member Tapia's investment in our youth and commitment to expanding opportunities for children and families across our community.

Last Thursday, our CHCF team came together for a Professional Development Day filled with learning, connection, and a little movement! From team-building through art and Zumba. Despite the heat wave, nothing could stop us from showing up with energy and community spirit.

CHCF stands in solidarity with Venezuela following Wednesday’s devastating earthquakes. The destruction is widespread, and thousands of families are currently facing immense loss and uncertainty.
We are proud to join the Hispanic Federation to support immediate, on-the-ground recovery efforts. They need emergency shelter, food, and clean water right now.

Statistics on childcare worker conditions in NYC. On average, childcare workers earn $25,000 per year. The childcare workforce is mostly women, people of color, and immigrants.
