Maybe what you need right now isn’t more advice.

Maybe it’s a weekend where your body can move without pressure, your mind can quiet down a little, and being around people who get it feels like a relief.

That’s the kind of space we’re creating at the 2026 YSC Wellness Summit in Seattle.

Early-bird pricing offers a discounted registration rate—but it won’t last long!

Sometimes it happens in waiting rooms.
On intake forms.
With every new doctor, nurse, question, assumption, or look.

And when breast cancer is already part of the appointment, that extra calculation can be exhausting.

YSC’s Q***r Virtual Hangout and private Facebook groups are spaces where q***r young adults impacted by breast cancer can connect without having to translate every part of the experience first.

Because being understood should not feel like one more thing to manage.

Triage Cancer and Bright Spot Network have partnered to offer free support designed specifically for parents, including practical resources, workshops, and one-on-one guidance.

From navigating finances and insurance to talking with your kids and staying connected as a family, this program is here to support you wherever you are.

This weekend, we were at ASCO learning about new studies, treatment advances, and the conversations shaping what life during and after breast cancer can look like for young adults like us.

Honestly, being in those rooms always feels both hopeful and grounding - especially knowing our experiences and voices continue to have space in those conversations too.

Also, shoutout to our Program Associate and young survivor, Bri, for representing our community so beautifully during Susan G. Komen’s networking reception 💛

Some of us are navigating identity alongside diagnosis. Some of us are figuring out our bodies, relationships, community, reproductive health, and sense of self all at the same time. Some of us are simply trying to make space for joy, connection, and ourselves again.

In the OUT National Cancer Survey, 82% of respondents said their oncology provider did not share possible fertility preservation options with them. That matters, because survivorship support should reflect the full reality of our lives, including our identities, relationships, families, and futures.
This month, we’re holding space for the many realities of survivorship while celebrating and uplifting the LGBTQ+ young adults in our community 💛🌈

June is National Cancer Survivor Month and Pride Month, and both are reminders that there is no one way to move through survivorship.

We all deserve support, care, and spaces where we do not have to explain every part of who we are.

Introducing YSC’s new Guided Support Virtual Hangout!

Sometimes you need to talk with people who get it.
And sometimes, you need a little more support in the room too.

This new virtual hangout brings together peer connection and professional support in a way most spaces don’t.

Each session is co-facilitated by:
• a trained peer lead
• an oncology-informed licensed clinical social worker

So you have both - lived experience and clinical expertise helping guide the conversation.
This is a space to talk honestly about what you’re carrying, navigating, or needing support around right now. You can share, listen, ask questions, or simply be present. There’s no pressure to have the right words.
Just real conversation, thoughtful guidance, and people who understand.
