Internal Creations teaches leadership, self-sufficiency and life skills through learning the classical guitar by serving marginalized and under-resourced schools in NYC. Internal Creations provides free-of-charge guitar ensemble programs in schools and community centers that is open to all students grades 6-12 and adults regardless of skill level. Students learn how to play the guitar, read music,

and perform together as soloists and an ensemble while learning key life skills for success; Patience, Persistence, Perseverance and Passion. Key skills that transcend beyond music and create conscious kids that make for better people.

🎼 We are fortunate to have amazing supporters and champions for arts education like the Find Your Light Foundation in our corner. Small and consistent tax-deductible gifts to our organization cultivates the opportunity to provide:

🌅Personal transformation that happens when you become aware of your mind, body and spirit that our music learning journey naturally teaches us.

With us asking our students:

How did we get from not knowing how to hold a 🎸guitar to being able to play my favorite songs, our 🎼guitar ensemble music, or solos?

Do we know how you got there?

What did you do differently to achieve this?

Then with those questions comes the introspection. The self-reflection that then makes us realize. “Oh THAT’S why I was able to achieve this”.

Our mission is to procure that platform of self- reflection so our students can experience what is possible to achieve in this world by knowing yourself more ❤️
