We had the pleasure of being invited to Manhattan Family Court’s Teen Day, where we joined other organizations and institutions to connect with young people and share more about Emergent Works programs and services.

We also had the opportunity to meet potential partners and explore new ways to connect more individuals with the resources and support they need.

Thank you to Manhattan Family Court for having us! We’re excited about the connections made and the opportunities ahead.

This week, our participants focused on developing their businesses by creating pricing strategies, understanding costs, tracking expenses, and working on their logos.

From managing finances to building a brand identity, each session is helping participants turn their ideas into something they can build on.💚

Last month, our team had the opportunity to be part of the 3rd Annual NYSDEN Conference! 💚🎤

Army, Laiquan, Makeda, and Jason joined the conversation around New York’s digital divide, sharing perspectives on the importance of expanding access to technology, resources, and opportunities for communities too often left behind.

Last week was all about branding! 🎨💡

Our Fall Entrepreneurship Cohort explored how to bring their business ideas to life visually with the help of Aly Blenkin, one of EW’s longtime mentors.

From learning design principles and exploring existing brands to identifying their target customers, participating in design games, and creating mood boards, our entrepreneurs got hands-on with developing their own brand identity.
