Thank you for joining our October Inter-Parish Association Community Gathering!

This month, we learned about the work of the Orthodox Christian Mission Center, and how IPAs can get involved in the Mission Center's work domestically and internationally.

What is Orthodox Christian Mission? It is apostolic, incarnational, and ecclesial.

How can IPAs get involved?
🌳 Through formation, partnership, and deployment
🎨Inviting OCMC staff to speak locally and identify an IPA OCMC Ambassador for the area
💵 Supporting missionaries financially and building a long-term personal relationship with them as an IPA
And so much more! Learn more through OCMC's website - https://ocmc.org/

Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared your ideas, experience, and encouragement! We had representation from various IPAs and new areas including: Akron, Denver, Indianapolis, Joliet (IL), Northern New Jersey, South Carolina, Tampa, Wilkes-Barre, and Youngstown.

📅 Mark your calendars for our next IPA Community Gathering: Thursday, November 19 at 7:00 PM ET.

Couldn't make it? You can still be part of the conversation by joining our online IPA course and community. Link in bio! https://buff.ly/ZlBakGK

Inter-Parish Associations promote communication, camaraderie, and cooperation across Orthodox Christian parishes of all jurisdictions in a given geographical area. They are local (city/town level), the parishes are the Members, and their leadership includes both clergy and laity. Their purpose is to break down barriers across Orthodox Christian jurisdictions and, as a unified Orthodox Christian community, witness Christ’s love in local society.
