non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, is based in New York and works in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the U.S. Setting a new precedent in cultural relations, FACE Foundation pools private and public resources to support innovative dialogue and exchange in the fields of contemporary visual arts, performing arts, music, film, and secondary and higher education between the French-speaking world and the United States.

We are delighted to announce a significant milestone in the evolution of our organization. FACE Foundation has transformed into Albertine Foundation, reflecting our commitment to fostering French-American relations through innovative cultural and educational projects.

In collaboration with French Embassy in the U.S. and Villa Albertine, Albertine Foundation actively promotes artistic, literary, and educational exchange and collaboration between creative professionals from both nations.

Supported generously by corporate, foundation, and individual contributors, we proudly administer grant programs in the performing and visual arts, cinema, translation, as well as secondary and higher education. Additionally, our financial support extends to French-American festivals and various cultural initiatives.

Albertine Foundation is dedicated to showcasing the innovative and recent work of artists, all while championing bilingualism and the French language. We are excited about this transformative journey and look forward to continuing our shared pursuit of cultural enrichment.

FACE Foundation is an American nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting French-American relations through innovative cultural and educational projects.

In partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States, FACE Foundation promotes artistic, literary and educational exchange and collaboration between creative professionals from both countries. With additional corporate, foundation, and individual support, FACE Foundation administers grant programs in the performing and visual arts, cinema, translation, and secondary and higher education, while providing financial sponsorship to French-American festivals and other cultural initiatives. FACE Foundation focuses on new and recent work of living artists and the promotion of bilingualism and the French language.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain Organization's budget and coordinates invoices and internal procurement processes
- Schedules, plans and coordinates meetings and conferences
- Provides writing, editing, and digital content support for all the programs
- Performs all bookkeeping, check and payroll processing, bank reconciliations, etc.
- Coordinates meetings for FACE Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Board committees, advisory committees, grant-making committees, etc.
- Assists in the preparation of FACE Foundation’s operating budget; monitors budgets and generates financial reports throughout the year
- Liaisons with external accountants and supervises the preparation of annual audit
- Assist in the preparation of fundraising activities as needed (research, solicitation documents, gift acknowledgement, special events, etc.)
- Grant administration: Processes grant contracts and monitors grantee compliance, reporting, etc. Provides administrative support for periodic grant-making committee meetings (travel arrangements, hospitality, itinerary planning, distribution of materials, etc.). Provides general support for program staff of grant making funds.

Required Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role

- Knowledge of Quickbooks a must. Performs all bookkeeping, check and payroll processing, bank reconciliations, etc.

- Experience managing projects and/or monitoring budgets
- Working knowledge of French a plus (written/spoken)
- Advanced skills with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Familiarity with nonprofit governance and management practices
- Good writing and communications skills

This is a 4 day/week job offer. Two days minimum in office required.
