Important Election Reminder: Primary Day Is Tomorrow

Your vote matters. 🗳️

New York Primary Day is tomorrow, and polls open at 6:00 AM. Make your plan today to cast your ballot and ensure your voice is heard.

⏰ Polls are open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Tomorrow is also the last day to postmark or drop off in person your absentee ballot.

New Yorkers will be choosing their party's nominees for major federal, state, and local offices, including Governor, U.S. House, State Senate, and State Assembly. Because New York uses a closed primary system, you can only vote in the primary of the specific political party you are registered with. The winners will advance to the General Election this November.

Today we celebrated the signing of the AANHPI Education Equity Act. This new law directs New York to examine how Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander history is taught in our public schools and creates an advisory committee to strengthen curriculum guidance statewide. As a founding organization of the REACH Coalition, OCA-New York Chapter is proud to have helped advance this critical step toward more inclusive and accurate education for all students.
