We are proud to support local events! Some greening on Rockaway Parkway, check out the natives and Brooklyn Community Board 18 stopped by with New York City Department of Sanitation to tour Rockaway Parkway North Corridor to remind busineses of their responsibility in keeping their storefronts clean.

Senator Roxanne Persaud Annual event Back-to-School event took place in Canarsie Park om Tuesday. Officier Thompson is in charge of Crime Prevention at NYPD 69th Precinct and attended our monthly Merchant Security Council meeting on Thursday to discuss safety concerns and how we can work together to enhance the quality of life for all in Canarsie.

Congrats to CMA Member America's Food Basket as they hosted their Annual Customer Appreciation Event on Rockaway Parkway near the DOT Parking Lot. We are happy to support our members as they celebrate, did you win one if our CMA Bears? Sourced from CMA Member Enterprises, DOE Vendor and would love work with Brooklyn Comm School District 18 during the 2026-2027 school year.

Hat's off to CM Mercedes Narcisse for allowing us to table at her event with The Dynamic Duo Tutors mom and son team. Dylan, a youth entrepreneur is headed to NYU Tandon this Fall and loves to play golf. Thanks to Rootz for the food donation and appreciate all our members.
Congrats to all students returning to school this year. Four families won gift certificates towards tutoring services and look who got a chance to secure on of our CMA Bears at the event.

Making It Look Kool Apparel hosted their annual block event, love the work and inviting them and other businesses on East 92nd Street to join CMA.

Mystic Media Live Guyana - MML a CMA member and East Flatbush Village our community partner for assisting with our promotional and programming needs.

Attended Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce monthly networking in Flatbush
and learned of opportunities for local
Share MTA resources with other business owners.

Stood with the family of John Gavin alongside community partners Flossy, ManUp and East Flatbush Village at Canarsie Pier. The violence has to stop and we will continue to advocate for safer streets.

Supported East Flatbush Village at their 21st Annual Family Fun Day and was pleased to share our business and community resources. At the event we distributed books, offered a chance to win a CMA Bear, play chess and golf. Community also had an opportunity to meet two of merchants during the event.

Back-to-School Season in Canarsie and we are proud to support all our families as they prepare for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Memorable moments on our Wellness Plaza, distributed our CMA School Supplies Starter Kits and donated supplies from Civilian Complaint Board and all purchased locally. We thank all our CMA members for your continued support. Grateful to our current partners and new partners like HeadCount for joining us yesterday encouraging the community to register to vote.
With our partners we shared refreshments, music, books, crafts and games with the community.
