New Cumberland Youth Baseball Association New Cumberland Youth Baseball Association (NCYBA) is an independent youth baseball league for boys and girls ages 4-12.

We are a recreational league and welcome players of all skill levels. Our focus is teaching children the game of baseball.

Our second annual Battle At Cole 8u Hybrid Tournament has come to a close.

In a nail-biter finish, Upper Allen Mechanicsburg Baseball Association RED tied it up in the top of the 6th inning (the final inning) making the score 10-10. With one out and a runner on 2nd, a Central Dauphin player hit a hard grounder to center, knocking in the winning run!

Final score: Upper Allen RED 10 - Central Dauphin 11

Results from our last two Seeding Games today:

Upper Allen Mechanicsburg Baseball Association defeats New Cumberland 7-0

Central Dauphin is victorious over New Cumberland 6-1.

With a record of 3-1, Central Dauphin Baseball Association is the #1 seed and will play in the Championship Game later today.

At around 2:15pm, we'll have the #2 (Upper Allen) and #3 (New Cumberland) seeds face off to see who will meet Central Dauphin for 1st place!

We're not done yet, youth baseball fans! Today kicks off our 2nd Annual Battle at Cole 8U Hybrid Tournament (previously "Battle At Boro). Get ready for a full weekend of games! Saturday will consist of Seeding Round games, and Sunday will wrap up Seeding Games and continue with the semi-finals, followed by the Championship Game.

How does the Battle At Cole differ from our 7u, you ask (other than player ages, of course)?

Each game will feature:
Two innings of kid pitch, followed by machine pitch.
All strikes are called, not just "swinging" strikes.
Stealing of 2nd and 3rd base permitted (no runner advancement on overthrows)
Time is called when: Balls hit to the outfield are returned to and controlled by an infielder (in the infield dirt) who does not make an attempt at a play, or...on hit balls that remain in the infield, when the ball is returned to the pitcher.

All games are at Will Cole Park on 12th St. Please do not park next to the fields (on the field side of 12th Street), or in the Borough Office or Police station parking lots.
