A huge thank you to everyone that supported the New Cumberland Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade on May25. Weather finally played nice for the weekend to allow for the event to hold. A huge thank you to the Poppy Queen, Poppy Prince and the Poppy Princess for representing Fox-Eichelberger VFW Post 7415!!!!! Here are a few pictures from the event.

If you attend the New Cumberland Memorial Day Service on Monday, you will be able to take in the amazing upgrade the VFW Memorial has received complements of our very own “Scout of the Year” Thomas Sisca!!!!! He chose this for his Eagle Scout project and it turned out beautiful!!!!!! Memorial Day service will be its first ceremony since it has been upgraded.

VFW Commander Keith Williams and Quartermaster Mike Mooney were invited to Thomas’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor today. They presented Thomas with his first place award from VFW Post 7415 for his first place finish for Scout of the Year and Quartermaster Mike Mooney got to announce that Thomas will be representing the State of PA at the National Level for Scout of the Year this summer!!!!! Great ceremony. A huge thank you to the Sisca family for the invitation today. It was a wonderful ceremony!!!!!

If you are looking for community service hours, we have a great option for you. The Saturday, May 16, 2026 starting at 730am. Fox Eichelberger VFW and Kimberly Ann Fahnestock-Voetz VFW will be placing American flags on veterans grave sites at Rolling Green Cemetery. There are over 5,000 veterans placed to rest at this location. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!
