When it's darkest, Look to the light!

At 61, Ian Castaneira was accustomed to living an active, demanding life. He served as a law enforcement officer, worked as a real estate developer and taught martial arts. Physically fit and in excellent health aside from a few old injuries and some arthritis, cancer was the last thing he expected.

💃 **Dance for a Cause!** 💃

Join us Friday, Nov 6 at 7 PM at Simply Yoga and Fitness (265 Penrose Place, Carlisle) for a LaBlast® Charity Class — Latin, ballroom, swing, and disco in a partner-free, full-body dance workout. No experience needed — just bring your energy!

Taught by Katie Arostegui — breast cancer survivor, former NFL Pro Cheerleader, and LaBlast Master Trainer with 20+ years of teaching dance.

This class is donation based ($40 suggested, any amount welcome) and ALL proceeds benefit Vickie's Angel Foundation, helping local families battling cancer pay rent, utilities, and other essentials.

🦃🇺🇸 The 22nd Annual SMT Turkey Trot is coming — Thanksgiving morning in New Cumberland!
Start your Thanksgiving with a 5K run or walk through the borough. This year's theme is 250 Years of Freedom — and just look at this shirt design. The turkeys are crossing the river! 😄

Chef Jaime Perez is preparing Mediterranean chicken with cherry tomatoes, basil, shallots & garlic, roasted potatoes, and sautéed green beans — plus salad, dessert, and beverages. BYOB.
Tickets are $25 and include the meal.
Online bidding starts October 5. Some items are reserved for in-person guests, so come enjoy the evening with us.
A portion of proceeds supports Vickie’s Angel Foundation.
