On Tuesday, June 23rd, Villa Terrace will be welcoming author Derrick Harriell for a special reading and conversation on the creative process from 6:00 PM- 7:30 PM. 📖✨

Derrick Harriell is a New York Times bestselling author and UW-Milwaukee’s Interim Director of the Black Student Cultural Center and a professor of English. An acclaimed poet and fiction writer, he is the author of several poetry collections, many of which have earned awards.

Come enjoy a relaxing morning yoga session at the terrace, led by a local instructor.

☕️ Cafe Sopra Mare | Sunday, June 21st, 10:30 AM-12:30 PM
Cafe Sopra Mare returns, with cafe items from Crave Cart MKE. Come enjoy music from Louis Cucunato in our courtyard, while sipping on some hand crafted coffee. Admission to the museum for this event is free until 12:30pm.

As always, we are open every Thursday through Sunday to the public.

Our fundraiser gala, Sopra Mare La Sera, will be taking place on Saturday, July 18th, at 5PM.

Come enjoy an evening of dinner and dancing at the beautiful gardens of Villa Terrace while supporting the museum and making a difference. This year’s funds will go towards restoration efforts to improve access between the terrace and lower gardens, making Villa Terrace more accessible to the community.

A friendly reminder that our Garden Opening Day celebration scheduled for this Sunday has been canceled as we continue important restoration work on the property.

While we won't be hosting the Garden Opening event, there are still plenty of reasons to visit Villa Terrace this weekend!

What a beautiful first Sunday morning yoga of the season! Today class went down to the gardens and enjoyed the sounds of the birds and waves, with the always amazing Jo instructing yoga. Sign up on our website for future Sunday classes 9-10am $15pp.

Be sure to check out our latest exhibition, Susan Falkman's From Italy to Milwaukee in the Dake Gallery!

Susan Falkman creates carved, scored, and smoothed marble sculptures using ancient hand carving techniques and power tools. Much of her work appears fluid, defying the rigidity of stone. Don't miss out on seeing her beautiful work! This exhibit will run until January 3rd, 2027!
