For us, the days after October 7th were difficult, but we also saw amazing things that grew out of the tragedy. We’ve seen hope and courage in people even through the hardest times. This day felt very different for us, but it was incredibly meaningful.
We attended a community event where we spoke in front of people, and we also led a ceremony at MGDS. It was a heavy and emotional day, but being able to connect with everyone and share this experience together was so important to us.

Thank you for an amazing first month as Shinshinot!✨
September was filled with so many new experiences, meaningful moments, new friendships, and opportunities to learn and grow.
We are so grateful for everyone who welcomed us, supported us, and made us feel at home from the very beginning.
We’ve already loved getting to know the community, meeting so many incredible people, and being part of something so special.
We can’t wait for everything that’s still ahead and are so excited to continue working, learning, and getting to know the community even more.

We had so much fun starting our activities across the community this week! We loved getting to know the kids, playing games, making music, and sharing a little bit of Israel with them. It’s been exciting to spend time together in each place. We’re looking forward to getting to know everyone better and continuing our activities with the kids throughout the year! 💙

Everything we were able to do this year would not have been possible without our host families:
The Barnetts, the Lerner’s , the Nelson’s and the wagner’s.

From the very first day, they welcomed us into their homes and made us feel like part of their families. They supported us, encouraged us, and gave us a true home away from home throughout this entire journey.

A few weeks ago, we finished our last programs at MJDS - Pittas on the fire, and we still can’t believe it’s over ☹️

We shared so many amazing experiences and made countless memories with the kids throughout the year. Thank you so much to MJDS for giving us the opportunity to lead such special programs, it was truly the best. We are so grateful to everyone who made this year unforgettable, and we will miss you all so much. Thank you for everything ❤️
