May!🩷 Our last month here has been incredible, but also one of the hardest. We’ve had to say goodbye to so many wonderful people, and it’s difficult to believe that this chapter is coming to an end.
While we’re sad to leave, we’re incredibly grateful for the friendships, memories, and experiences we’ve shared with all of you.
We’re looking forward to Camp and hope to see many of you again soon!!🏕️

A couple weeks ago, we wrapped up our Israeli TV show program!📺🇮🇱
We introduced the kids to some of shows we grew up watching, then participated in games and activities inspired by the shows. including a Bitzikopter activity which is an egg drop challenge in which children designed and tested ways to protect an egg from breaking when dropped🥚🚁

April went by way too fast ..
It was such a meaningful month, full of fun programs, Yamim celebrations, and our last Sunday Schools, so many special moments that we were lucky to share with all of you.
We’re excited and ready to begin our last month in this amazing community before we head off to Camp Interlaken!🌲

We wrapped up our “Amazing Race” program!!🌍🏃🏽‍♂️
the kids got to experience different Israeli cities through fun and challenging missions.
It was amazing to see everyone getting competitive, working together, and doing their best to finish in 1st place. We had so much fun throughout the program and loved watching the excitement and energy from all the participants everywhere we went!!💛

We had such a great time celebrating Yom Ha’Atzmaut last week! 🇮🇱🩵
We had the chance to organize a fun Israeli childhood themed event at MJDS, it was so nice to see all the kids dancing, joining in, and enjoying all the activities and surprises!

The celebration with the JCC and MJF was also amazing! from the march for Israel to all the fun activities and celebrations that followed.

It was really special for us to celebrate Yom Ha’Atzmaut outside of Israel for the first time, full of joy, connection, and great memories.

We held a Bira VeNashira event at ASKT in honor of Omri Shwartz z”l and Ilan Peleg Yom-Tov z”l, two Israeli soldiers who were killed in combat during the war.

It was incredibly meaningful to see everyone come together singing, remembering, and honoring their lives.

We want to extend a huge thank you to ASKT for hosting such a special evening, and to everyone who came out to be part of it 🤍

While we’re still in Israel, we wanted to take a moment to look back and summarize our February 🥳

After a short but fun week of Tu Bishvat programming and activities, we finally flew back to Israel to visit our friends and family! It was amazing getting to see everyone again after so long, and we had such a special time catching up and spending time together🫂💕

We celebrated Tu BiShvat this month, the birthday of the trees!🌳
We taught the kids about Israeli traditions, we made Rosh Deshe (grass heads) an Israeli tradition we did since we were little, and created beautiful almond trees, that are the symbol of the holiday in Israel🌸
We had so much fun working with all of the kids, happy Tu Bishvat!🎊🌿
