Ascension Wisconsin Foundation cultivates philanthropic support for our hospitals and community programs. A call to care. Everyone has one.

The Foundation plays an important part in Ascension and its ministry of healing. At Ascension Wisconsin Foundation, we help people answer their call to care through gifts that help our patients heal better, heal faster, and get back to living their lives. Donor gifts fund advanced treatments and technologies, programs and services that create an exceptional patient experience, and community benefit programs – all which help the Ascension expert team of caregivers provide the best care to our patients, their families and our community. Growing up, Stefanie was always the twin who went first. Whether it was the waterslide or a haircut, she went first to show Samantha there was nothing to fear.

Years later, when Samantha was diagnosed with breast cancer, their roles reversed. This time, Samantha went first.

Early detection, a cancer prevention program and a care team at Ascension NE Wisconsin - St. Elizabeth Campus that they trusted helped Samantha face her diagnosis and gave Stefanie important information about her own risk.

Thank you to the Chilton Public School District and New Holstein School District High School Volley Teams for supporting patients with cancer this breast cancer awareness month!🩷

The two teams came together for the annual Pink Out Night in support of the Ascension Calumet Cancer Center earlier this month. More than $1,600 was raised!🎉

Happy World Mental Health Day! 🌎🧠 Today and every day, mental health is just as important as physical health! Listen to Dr. Sabrina Ali of Ascension Wisconsin All Saints Family Health Center discuss ways to improve your mental health and signs it might be time for a mental health break.

An estimated 5,900+ Wisconsinites were diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2025, according to Susan G. Komen. Early detection is key and can save lives. At the Ascension All Saints Family Health Center in Milwaukee, Shirnese found support through the Birth and Babies Group, where she could connect with and learn from other moms and medical experts. Designed to support pregnant and recently postpartum patients and their families, Birth and Babies serves as a safe space for parents to connect and access important resources.

“The pregnancy group is amazing,” Shirnese shared. “It's a place to connect people with resources. […] I am very grateful to have been a part of it.”

The Birth and Babies Group is made possible in part by donor generosity to Ascension Wisconsin Foundation.
