Blankies 4 My Buddies Foundation is an Atlanta-based (Charleston born), youth-led nonprofit organization that provides comfort and support to those experiencing difficult situations while inspiring kids and teens to give back.

💙🐻 This Tuesday, Kollin and Granny Jane delivered 40 Build-A-Bear teddy bears to the kids at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

I hope these bears bring lots of smiles, hugs, and comfort to kids who are going through tough times. I want them to know that someone is thinking about them and cheering them on! 💙

Giving back to other kids is something I love doing, and even a small act of kindness can make a big difference!

🩷🩵 A Wave of Light | October 15

Tonight at 7 PM, Blankies 4 My Buddies Foundation joins families around the world in lighting candles to honor the precious babies gone too soon.

We invite you to light a candle with us in remembrance of the little lives that have left everlasting footprints on our hearts. 🕯️

💙 World Homeless Day | October 10

Everyone deserves dignity, compassion, and a safe place to call home.

Throughout the month of September during our 911 Days initiative, communities came together to assemble and donate over 2,000 hygiene kits to support individuals experiencing homelessness, including veterans.

Small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference, and we’re proud of all of the community members, especially the 400 youth who put compassion into action.

We are so proud of the amazing youth that we meet through Blankies 4 My Buddies. Gives us hope that humanity still exists.

Their compassion, kindness and willingness to serve others remind us that humanity still exists — and that the future is in some pretty incredible hands.

Every time we see a young person choose to give, serve and care for someone else, it gives us hope. This is why we do what we do. ❤️

In a Morehouse College gym, students from across the Atlanta University Center turned pieces of fleece, everyday essentials, and handwritten notes into something meant for people they may never meet.

One of our favorite stations at our events honoring veterans is for writing Letters of Encouragement. ❤️ The Wrapped in Hope 9/11 Day events were no exception!

Students created handwritten messages of hope, kindness and encouragement to accompany items being donated into the community.

Sometimes a few words can make all the difference. ❤️

At Blankies 4 My Buddies, we believe every blanket has a purpose. Even the ones with uneven knots, imperfect edges, or a little extra character can make a difference. 💙

That’s why our not-so-perfectly tied blankets are donated to local animal shelters, where they can provide warmth, comfort, and a soft place to rest for furry friends waiting for their forever homes.🐾
