I year update on Bella kitty, new name Sushi- Sushi's mom told us she loves to play with all of her many toys, she spends part of her day in the window sill watching lizards and birds and most importantly, she cannot imagine their life without Sushi in it. One are the best gifts a Rescue can get is happy updates on our adopted animals.

Pupdate On Elliott- look at this boy, all grown up and totally spoiled. Mom reported he is dealing with seasonal allergies but otherwise a healthy pup. He's going to visit Doggy Day Care soon since he's an only child. Mom wants him to stay socialized. Elliott has even made friends with the neighborhood cats that hangout at his house. Elliott, you are one handsome boy.

Meet Kipper - We unfortunately don't know anything about his past. Kipper was abandoned and is unable to tell us how he ended up on the streets. Fortunately Kipper is in a foster care so he is getting the love and attention he desires. His foster home has other dogs and he has been a perfect gentleman with all of them. Kipper greets all new people he meets with a wagging tail and has done great when meeting new dogs. He was nonreactive when around cats but he has not been exposed to cats on a regular basis. Kipper is crate trained and house trained when kept on a regular routine. Please complete the online application at https://henryhumane.com/ if you are interested in adopting Kipper.

Look at Violet living her best, spoiled life ever. A cat on their back like this just shows how content, trusting and relaxed she is. Absolutely love this video- so happy for you Violet.

Thelma & Louise had their first Vet visit at the The Healthy Pet Veterinary Clinic. The girls are doing great. They got their first round of vaccines and we have their spay on the calendar. For now, they are learning new things every day in their foster home and working on basic training so they will be ready for new homes once available for adoption. Please consider a small donation to help us with their medical expenses. We rely solely on your donations to continue our mission of saving innocent lives.

What a great turnout we had yesterday with our first Fur Marshal Vaccine event. A big shout out to the Locust Grove Fire Marshal, Anthony Hicks, the City of Locust Grove, the Locust Grove Fire Department & their mascot Sparky, The Help Spay/Neuter Clinic and our sponsor Halo House for Dogs. Our sponsor made it possible for 100 animals to receive a $20 Vaccine package to include microchip. Halo House for Dogs also sponsored $5000 for spay/neuter vouchers for the participants. Thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers who helped make this a successful day. We look forward to making this an annual event.
