n Statement
We envision a future where justice-involved women, strengthened by faith, are empowered to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. Through life skills, support, and compassion, we aim to break the cycle of incarceration—for women and their children—so that both may experience healing, hope, and lasting connection. About Us
Founded by Tosha Morell, House of Empowerment, Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to restoring dignity, hope, and support to justice-involved women and their children. We provide feminine hygiene products and essential personal care items to women in correctional facilities as they prepare for reentry, helping ease their transition back into the community with confidence and respect. Recognizing that every woman deserves the opportunity to grow and thrive, we also offer life skills courses that encourage personal development, independence, and long-term success—open to all women seeking to better their lives. These efforts play a vital role in reducing recidivism by empowering women with the tools and support needed to break the cycle of incarceration. Understanding the emotional toll incarceration takes on families, we extend compassion to the children of incarcerated mothers by providing toys and gifts during the holiday season. These acts of kindness serve as powerful reminders that they are loved, remembered, and never forgotten. At the heart of our work is a deep belief in second chances, healing, and the transformative power of compassion.

It’s that time again.

House of Empowerment is returning to mentor women in prison, and, as we always do, we will provide toiletries for indigent women.

This is part of our commitment. Dignity is not optional.

We are inviting our community to partner with us by donating:
• Toothpaste
• Lotion
• Deodorant
• Christian books
• A CD player
• Christian DVDs

You can shop our wishlist, and the items will be sent directly to us. https://a.co/0coZxj0O

These women are not there forever. One day, they will reenter society. One day, they will have a new beginning.

When we show up, we don’t just talk about hope, we bring it.

If you prefer to give financially, please message us or call 404-669-6941 ext 6

Let’s continue being the bridge between where they are and where they’re going.

This is what I mean when I say when God gives you the vision, He will always provide the provision. We received enough feminine hygiene products for 200 women and girls, plus Native body wash, shampoo, and tons of amazing books for a women’s correctional facility. These books will help promote literacy and allow mothers to read to their children through the Little Readers program.

We also have enough items to create Bloom Kits for elementary aged girls, including underwear, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, wipes, and cleansing cloths.

And my God will supply all your needs…Philippians 4:19

I had to learn the power of knowing my “why.”

It taught me how to stand firm, make better decisions, and stop settling for what didn’t align with my purpose.
But before I could get there, I had to go through a season of rediscovery, rediscovering who I was, what I carried, and why I mattered.

That’s why I’m bringing this same journey to a circle of 5 women through the RediscoverU Life Academy.
Because when you know who you are and why you’re here, everything changes.

Are you ready to BECOME HER, the woman you were created to be?

But GOD! When He gives the vision, He also provides the provision 🙌🏽

Over the next few days, I’ll be picking up donated items from Atlanta, Douglasville, Sylvania, and Statesboro to support our outreach efforts for indigent women inmates. These women are often forgotten, but not by God, and not by us.

This is just the beginning, and we need your help.

Would you be willing to donate?

Every item matters. Every soul matters.
