n Statement
We envision a future where justice-involved women, strengthened by faith, are empowered to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. Through life skills, support, and compassion, we aim to break the cycle of incarceration—for women and their children—so that both may experience healing, hope, and lasting connection. About Us
Founded by Tosha Morell, House of Empowerment, Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to restoring dignity, hope, and support to justice-involved women and their children. We provide feminine hygiene products and essential personal care items to women in correctional facilities as they prepare for reentry, helping ease their transition back into the community with confidence and respect. Recognizing that every woman deserves the opportunity to grow and thrive, we also offer life skills courses that encourage personal development, independence, and long-term success—open to all women seeking to better their lives. These efforts play a vital role in reducing recidivism by empowering women with the tools and support needed to break the cycle of incarceration. Understanding the emotional toll incarceration takes on families, we extend compassion to the children of incarcerated mothers by providing toys and gifts during the holiday season. These acts of kindness serve as powerful reminders that they are loved, remembered, and never forgotten. At the heart of our work is a deep belief in second chances, healing, and the transformative power of compassion.
