Congratulations to Dr. Mike Eden, Elizabethtown High School Class of 1982, on being selected as a member of the 2026 Tradition of Excellence Alumni Award class.

Dr. Eden’s commitment to excellence, leadership, and service reflects the values that have long defined E’town and the generations of graduates who have carried that tradition forward.

We are proud to welcome Dr. Eden into this distinguished group of EHS alumni. Congratulations, Dr. Eden!

"It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by my alma mater 44 years after graduating," Eden said. "To be honest, I was not aware of the award until I received a letter from Faye Siler and Betty Vencill asking for my CV so they could nominate me. Considering how many EHS graduates have gone on to accomplish remarkable things, I was genuinely honored simply to be nominated."
