The Young Professionals had a YP Coffee Chat at People's Food Co-op and heard from Jim Szymalak, their current board president! Jim shared his path and also the opportunities to join the Board of Directors at People's Food Co-op.

As a director, you will directly support the new strategic plan and help advance the co-op’s long-term priorities. They will be electing five of the nine board positions, and they have a particular need for those with financial management, brand development, facilities management, or employee recruitment expertise, but all relevant skills are welcomed board additions. Deadline to apply is November 8th!

Please join us in congratulating the Leadership La Crosse Class of 2027, sponsored by Kwik Trip and DBS Group!

Last Wednesday we wrapped up an incredible year of learning, connection, and community leadership with our final session, Leadership in Action & Graduation. We spent the morning giving back through a volunteer cleanup at ORA Community Trail Farm, followed by a graduation luncheon where we celebrated our graduates and reflected on a wonderful year together.

Throughout the program, this group has explored our region, learned from community leaders, strengthened relationships across industries, and discovered new ways to make a difference in the community. We are so grateful for this thoughtful, engaged, and inspiring group of leaders. We can't wait to see how you continue to serve and shape the La Crosse region!

Last Thursday, we had a ribbon cutting to celebrate the new 1.3 mile long shared-use bike trail that will connect the Town of Shelby to Goose Island!
