September means the start of another busy school screening season for the La Crosse Lions! Our volunteers provide free vision and hearing screenings that help identify children who may need additional care. We’ll be visiting local schools on Monday and Wednesday mornings through November.

The Cashton Lions Club is hosting its annual “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive on Saturday, August 8, starting at 11 AM at the Bank of Cashton. We’ll be serving brats, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, pork chop or steak sandwiches, and accepting school supplies or cash donations. We wish to thank our sponsors for their generous support.

👓👂 Vision & Hearing Screenings Are Back! 💙💛

The La Crosse Lions are getting ready for another season of helping local children see and hear their very best!

🏫 Beginning in September, we’ll also be back in our local schools on Monday and Wednesday mornings through November.

Last year, our Lions screened more than 1,600 students, with 188 children referred for additional care. That’s 188 opportunities to catch a potential vision or hearing concern that might otherwise have gone unnoticed. ❤️

Thank you to all of our Lions who give their time to make these screenings possible. Together, we’re helping kids see, hear, learn, and thrive! 🦁💙💛
