Great River Folk Festival Driftless region folk festival celebrating music, dance, art, and performance since 1976. Join us August 28th-30th, 2026

Held the weekend before Labor Day in Riverside Park downtown La Crosse, the Great River Folk Festival is an interactive community event for all ages that preserves and promotes traditional and contemporary folk culture through music, crafts, dance and food.

Calling all artists and makers!
The application for the 2026 Great River Folk Festival Makers Market is now open!

The GRFF Makers Market runs from 10am–4pm on both Saturday and Sunday, August 29 & 30. Art vendors will be located just outside the festival grounds, allowing access to public foot traffic.
