Our WAFER Providing Food, Fueling Hope campaign has come to an end, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who has been part of this journey! Over the past 40 days, we shared 40 stories highlighting the people, experiences, and community connections that make WAFER special. Our goal was to inspire 400 donations of $40 to help us continue providing food and support to our neighbors. Thanks to the generosity of our 27 donors, we raised $1,650! We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared our stories, and helped spread the word.
Although our 40-day campaign has ended, the need for food and support continues year-round. You can donate to WAFER at any time by contributing food items or making a monetary donation. Every contribution makes a difference and helps ensure our neighbors have access to the food they need.
Thank you for being part of WAFER's 40-year journey and helping us continue providing food and fueling hope for years to come!

In August, longtime WAFER volunteers Mary and Dale Wetterling attended a La Crosse Loggers game and accept a generous donation from Hydrite Chemical on behalf of WAFER. For the fourth year in a row, Hydrite has donated $100 for every base stolen by a Loggers player. This year, the Loggers stole an impressive 58 bases, resulting in an incredible $5,800 donation to help support WAFER’s mission! Way to go, Loggers! And a huge, heartfelt thank you to Hydrite Chemical for continuing to show up for WAFER and for demonstrating such a strong commitment to caring for our community.
