Joel is the President and Chief Growth Officer at Nesnah Ventures, where he leads growth strategy, acquisitions, and leadership development across a diverse portfolio of companies. Throughout his 20+ year career, he has held executive leadership roles in the energy, retail, and operations industries, helping companies grow by building strong teams, developing leaders, and unlocking their full potential. He enjoys building organizations, solving complex challenges, and believes the best leaders leave people and businesses stronger than they found them.

Payton joins us November 2 as our new Director of Human Resources, supporting the people who bring our mission to life across Wisconsin.

He brings seven years of experience leading HR at Davidoff of Geneva USA. He also served as a military combat medic and trained more than 1,000 soldiers—an experience that helped shape his commitment to supporting others.

We’re excited to have Payton on our team as we help young people build the skills and confidence to shape their futures.

Britta is the Supervisor of Career & Technical Education for La Crosse Public Schools. She has dedicated her career to preparing students for success through Career & Technical Education, work-based learning, and strong partnerships between schools, businesses, and the community. She taught for 16 years before moving into CTE leadership, where she now works to expand career pathways and real-world learning opportunities for students across the district. Britta is interested in serving on the Junior Achievement Board because she believes every student should have access to experiences that build career awareness, financial literacy, and workplace skills. She is the proud parent of four and is committed to helping young people become confident, capable, and future ready.
