Art enrichment was full of fall fun this week! 🍂 Our kiddos made campfire cookies, enjoyed a story about scarecrows, and created scarecrows of their own. We sure do love Mrs. Gina Marie and the creativity she brings to HLC! 💚

Sometimes, when you're in 3rd–5th grade and it's the week after fall break, you simply MUST have a glow party after-school! Getting back into serious study mode after time off is hard work, and a little fun goes a long way! 💚

Mike Marcel may work for Radiance Technologies, Inc. by day, but at night, he's one of our HLC middle school superheroes! He's been faithfully volunteering for years, sharing his incredible STEM knowledge and making learning fun. We're especially grateful for his help kicking off STEM enrichment this week! 💚

We need more amazing volunteers like Mike! Interested? Email [email protected] to learn more!

Today, Sean Plouse and several financial friends came together through Community Bank Partners Madison County to deliver one BIG gift to our cause! 💚 We are so grateful for your generosity, the encouraging words you shared, and the time you took to visit with us. And the fact that you stuck around for a little tour of HLC? Well, that makes you extra special in our book! Thank you for investing in our kiddos and the work happening here!

When Back Forty B**r Company Huntsville feeds our HLC kiddos, there are a LOT of burgers to assemble! 🍔 But clearly, these folks are pros!

We’re still looking for bridge meal providers! Local restaurants, small groups, and sponsors are welcome to sign up for a one-time meal or a recurring monthly commitment.

Interested? Email [email protected]. Our students (and their bellies) thank you! 💚

What’s your best move? 👀

This week, Element Dance Company challenged our students to show off their best hip-hop trick—and we had NO idea they had moves like these. 😂

An early school lunch can make for a long afternoon before supper. That’s why we provide “bridge meals” at HLC—something filling to help our students bridge that gap and stay fueled for an afternoon of learning. 💚

We need more friends willing to provide bridge meals for our students. You can sign up today:

At Huntsville Learning Center, we provide high-quality after-school programs and summer camps for under-resourced K–12 students. But our founder, Mr. Art, always kept the goal beautifully simple: make sure our kiddos are ready for school tomorrow.

That means helping with homework, providing school supplies and hygiene items, and giving students the support they need to walk into the classroom prepared, confident and with their heads held high.

We love it when that daily investment pays off and our kiddos get to celebrate their excellence with us. 💚
