Welcome to Cattyshack’s Catty Book Club 📚🐾

Our June book will be We’ll Prescribe You Another Cat by Syou Ishida is a heartwarming novel about a mysterious clinic in Kyoto that “prescribes” cats to people struggling with life’s problems, leading to healing and self-discovery through the human-animal bond. The book, part of a series, features interconnected stories of various characters finding hope and connection through their feline companions, exploring themes of love, loss, and the unique magic of cat ownership. We’ll Prescribe You Another Cat is the second in the series, but the first does not need to be read to understand and enjoy this book. 

So come, enjoy the discussion and participate in some “kitten therapy.”

*We will have a mystery, signed book giveaway for one person in attendance at the end of the club discussion*

Well, we don’t have great news about Phoenix, but he’s still hanging in there! His eyes are so swollen that the specialist he went to today can’t even see if his eyeballs are still in there. 😿 So we got a few more medications to try to see if we can get the swelling down. He goes back on Monday. Wish him luck! 🍀 🐾💚🐈
